BECo-HI is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. We have outlined below some of the efforts that we are taking to create a more inclusive, diverse, and equitable organization.
Hiring: We take an active role in recruiting and promoting diverse candidates.
Training: Each new team member receives training including basic understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion such as cultural competence and implicit bias.
Visual Representation: We are intentional in selecting visual aids across different media that represent across race, body types, age, and ability.
Employee Engagement: We seek input from our team in various areas such as holidays we will recognize, how and if we celebrate various occasions, and other ways that we can have intent in celebrating our diversity.
